Enjoy an exhilarating Maasai Mara balloon safari with champagne breakfast (weather permitting) as part of your Kenya and Tanzania safari. This unusual excursion begins early in the morning with a transfer to the launch site, where the balloon crew briefs you and you can watch the enormous burners light up the night as they fill the balloons.

Once you take flight, soar in the company of the rising sun and exotic birds, high above the watchful eyes of easily alarmed wildlife. This is a rare opportunity to get a bird’s-eye-view of miles of rolling plains and the herds of animals that call it home and stalk its corners as you glide gently above the treetops. The flight itself lasts approximately 45–60 minutes before you touch down in the wilds of the Maasai Mara.

Sit down for a sumptuous, full-grain breakfast in the bush. The conversation at breakfast is always lively. Your breakfast, which consists of fresh fruit and your choice of eggs, bacon, sausage, tea or coffee, and of course, champagne, is prepared and served right in the midst of the African bush.
